Self-Rescue Is Not For Suicide™ Foundation is a nonprofit organization governed by an independent Board of Directors.

The Board provides oversight, ensures legal and ethical integrity, and safeguards the organization’s mission, while day-to-day operations are managed by the Executive Director.

Strong governance ensures accountability, transparency, and mission integrity.

 The Board of Directors is responsible for:

• Strategic oversight and mission alignment
• Financial review and accountability
• Policy approval and compliance
• Executive oversight

The Board does not manage daily operations and does not engage in micromanagement.

The organization is led by a Founder and Executive Director, who is responsible for:

• Program development and delivery
• Partnerships and funding strategy
• Operational management
• Implementation of Board-approved policies

This structure ensures both accountability and operational efficiency.

Self-Rescue Is Not For Suicide™ Foundation maintains a Conflict of Interest Policy requiring all board members and officers to disclose potential conflicts and recuse themselves from decisions where appropriate.

This policy exists to protect the integrity of the organization and its mission.

Financial activities are:

• Reviewed by the Board of Directors
• Conducted in accordance with nonprofit best practices

Organizational governing documents, policies, and financial information are maintained in accordance with state and federal requirements and are available upon reasonable request, consistent with applicable laws.
